Service date for the Elmswell Exchange.
Broadband will become available
from
26th
November 2003.

Hello, this is ELMSWELL.NET
The ELMSWELL.NET website is set up to support the
actions to bring broadband internet to the
Elmswell telephone exchange serving the
Elmswell/Woolpit area and telephone numbers
commencing with "01359 24".
Pre-registrations for broadband passed 200 on
28th June 2003.
On 10th July, BT announced a trigger level for
upgrading the Elmswell exchange to ADSL
broadband.
The trigger level was set at 500
pre-registrations.
This trigger level was passed on 24th July.
The next step was for BT Wholesale to check the
validity of the registrations and to assign a
date for the exchange to be enabled.
On 7 August came the announcement of the Ready
for Service date for the exchange: 26th November
2003.
Following this announcement, local subscribers
will be able to pre-order ADSL broadband.
Note: Pre-registration for broadband on the
Elmswell exchange should now cease.
It's time to check contractual commitments with
your present internet provider and start to
prepare for deciding which type of connection and
broadband provider's package will best suit you.
